WATCH: Joe Milton III Makes an Outstanding Throw at Vols Pro Day
Former Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Joe Milton III made an outstanding throw on a downfield ball during his pro day work.
Former Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton III threw in front of evaluators from all 32 NFL teams on Wednesday at his pro day. He's one of the more polarizing prospects at the quarterback position in this class. Milton has all the physical tools but has struggled with consistency issues throughout his career.
He's used the predraft process to showcase his impressive arm talent. Milton made an extremely impressive throw during the outdoor portion of his workout, launching a deep ball across the hashes to the delight of everyone attending.
CBS Sports NFL analyst Brady Quinn recently explained why he thinks NFL scouts could talk themselves into Milton over the draft process. Quinn played four seasons in the NFL, starting 20 games and throwing 12 touchdowns. He was a first-round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft after a decorated four-year career with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
"[NFL scouts will] look at it and say, 'We feel like we can work with this guy, we feel like we can mold this guy into something special,' and that’s really where I think Joe Milton can improve himself over everyone else because his arm strength alone will separate him from the rest of the quarterback class." - CBS Sports' Brady Quinn on Joe Milton III
