Justine Henin is one win away from her third straight French Open title after defeating Jelena Jankovic 6-2, 6-2.

Justine Henin carried the momentum of her quarterfinals defeat of Serena Williams into the semifinals, playing aggressive tennis and preventing Jankovic from succeeding on the baseline or at the net.

Jelena Jankovic is now 0-6 against Henin, though this was her first straight set loss to Henin.

Ana Ivanovic beat two-time Grand Slam champion Maria Sharapova 6-2, 6-1 to advance to her first Grand Slam final.

No. 7 Ana Ivanovic took advantage of Sharapova's sloppy play and discomfort on clay, but was still surprised by her easy victory, saying, "I was thinking the game would be much closer."

Maria Sharapova was looking to reach her third consecutive final in a major, but had 25 unforced errors to Ana Ivanovic's 11.

"I felt like she was always the one getting the first hit on the ball," said Maria Sharapova, who recently said she felt like "a cow on ice" when playing on clay.
