Roddick's entire repertoire was on display as he advanced to the semifinals of the Sony Ericsson Open.
Coming into the match, Roddick appeared destined to win. Said Roddick, "I came in knowing that nobody has beaten me 12 times in a row...So I had that on my side."
Roddick used his dominating serve to take advantage of Federer, who seemed just a half-step too slow.
Roddick raised his fists in celebration.
Since his engagement to SI swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker, Roddick is 1-0 against Federer.
