Maria Sharapova has been monopolizing the headlines this last week, whether it was for firing newly appointed coach Jimmy Connors or floating the possibility that she might change her last name to "Sugarpova" for the U.S. Open, an idea she wisely nixed. So when word came that she was starting an accessory line, it actually sounded ... normal.

Sharapova celebrated the one-year anniversary of her Sugarpova candy by launching a new Sugarpova-branded accessory line at Henri Bendel in New York City on Tuesday. Here's Maria talking about her new accessory line and, yes, about her wise decision not to change her name to "Sugarpova."
