For a woman who didn't play a single match at this year's U.S. Open, Maria Sharapova had no problem staying relevant over the last two weeks, even if it had nothing to do with her tennis.

The WTA No. 3, who withdrew from the last Grand Slam of the year with a shoulder injury, stayed in New York for a bit of a "staycation." Then, Sharapova glammed up for a whirlwind of appearances at shows and parties for New York's Fashion Week.
