MELBOURNE, Australia -- They don't speak in hyperbole down here in straight-talking Australia, so when they say it's going to be a scorcher, they're not exaggerating. Temperatures peaked at 110 degrees on Thursday, halting play at the Australian Open and inspiring an enterprising photographer to try and fry some eggs courtside:

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who cruised to a 7-6 (6), 6-4, 6-4 victory over Thomaz Bellucci this morning (the roof on Hisense Arena was closed during his match due to the heat), was in the mood for some steak and eggs afterward.
