Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray took center stage at Madison Square Garden on Monday night for the BNP Paribas Showdown, one of several exhibitions on World Tennis Day.

The two Grand Slam champions obviously weren't going at anything near 100 percent, nor should they have been given that they're set to play two big hard-court tournaments, the BNP Paribas Open and Sony Open, in succession. But they kept the crowd oohing and ahhing with some fun, lighthearted rallies during Djokovic's 6-3, 7-6 (2) victory.

The Djokovic-Murray match -- which included a cameo from Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli -- followed an exhibition between Bob and Mike Bryan and John and Patrick McEnroe. The Bryans won 8-3.
