Caroline Wozniacki finally broke her silence over the news of her split from fiance Rory McIlroy with -- what else? -- a tweet:
It's a hard time for me right now.Thanks for all the sweet messages!Happy I support Liverpool right now because I know I'll never walk alone

Wozniacki is a vocal Liverpool supporter, and the team's anthem is "You'll Never Walk Alone." And as Serena Williams quickly reminded her, she's not alone in this.
@CaroWozniacki I'll always walk with you. 👣👣😘😘 #friendsforever

McIlroy released a statement on Wednesday announcing he had broken off his engagement because of cold feet.
"The problem is mine," McIlroy said. "The wedding invitations issued at the weekend made me realize that I wasn’t ready for all that marriage entails."
Wozniacki's Twitter avatar used to feature McIlroy, but she's now changed it and dropped "fiancee" from her bio as well.
