Novak Djokovic marries girlfriend days after winning Wimbledon
On Sunday, Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer to win his second Wimbledon title. Four days later, the tennis player wed his longtime girlfriend Jelena Ristic, USA Today reports.
The wedding took place at Sveti Stefan, a seaside resort on the Adriatic Sea. The resort was closed for a few days prior to the wedding, and USA Today reports that the waiters and staff working the wedding had to sign confidentiality agreements and were not allowed to use their phones during festivities.

Among the confirmed attendees were Djokovic’s coach and six-time Grand Slam champion Boris Becker, Davis Cup teammate Janko Tipsarevic and his brother Marko Djokovic.
After defeating Roger Federer in a five-set classic on Centre Court, Djokovic told reporters he was closing this chapter of his life and looked forward to “spending time with my family and my future wife.” He dedicated the win to Ristic and their “future baby.”
Ristic is due with the couple’s first child later this year.
