Defending champion and No. 2 seed Fabio Fognini made an early exit in Hamburg, losing 6-4, 6-0 to No. 149 Filip Krajinovic in the second round. The match lasted just 55 minutes and Krajinovic lost just eight points in the second set. So yeah, Fabio was in a bad mood.

After tossing his racket in frustration to start the second set, Fognini fell behind 0-3 in the second and proceeded to Jean-Claude Van Damme his trusty Babolat and snap it in half. The outburst obviously didn't help. He lost the next three games too. The loss means Fognini could fall outside the top 20 on Monday.
