John Isner enters the 2014 US Open as the No. 13 seed in the men's draw. His first round opponent will be Marcos Giron.

Here is a look back at Isner's past performances at the US Open.

Isner was knocked out in the third round of the 2013 US Open by Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany. It was the fourth time in his U.S. Open career that he has exited in the third round.

Isner's best finish at the U.S. Open came in 2011, when he lost to Andy Murray in the quarterfinals in four sets.

Isner's worst finish in his U.S. Open career was a first round loss in 2008.

Isner has competed in double's competition in four straight U.S. Opens. He and his partner have lost three times in the first round, and once in the second round.

The 2014 US Open will be the eighth time that Isner has appeared in the Grand Slam. He has never won a Grand Slam tournament.
