In this week's episode of the SI Tennis Behind the Baseline podcast, Sports Illustrated executive editor Jon Wertheim talks with Memphis Grizzlies head coach David Joerger about his love for tennis. Entering his third season as an NBA coach, Joerger discusses how he was first introduced to tennis and how he transitioned from tennis to basketball during his childhood. After spending some time on the court with ATP player Sam Querrey, Joerger compares the game to basketball and gives his opinion on the top ATP players in comparison to some of his team's players and others in the league. Joerger also discusses what can tennis do to gain popularity, the overlap between pro tennis and the NBA and the reason why he is continuing his "A Serving for Tennis" event in Memphis during the All-Star break this year.
