The draw for the 2015 WTA Finals is out and after Serena Williams chose to shut down the remainder of her season at the beginning of the month, the eight-player field will be lead by No. 1 Simona Halep. In the Red Group, Halep is joined by Maria Sharapova and U.S. Open champion Flavia Pennetta. No. 2 GarbineMuguruza headlines the White Group.

Below is the line up for the draw, which will feature a round-robin format for each group. The top two players from the Red and White groups will qualify for the semifinals.

Doubles tournament

The top eight doubles teams—including Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza, who have won two Grand Slam and six tour titles in 2015, Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Lucie Safarova, Garbine Muguruza and Carla Suarez Navarro and all-American partners Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears—will compete for the WTA Finals Martina Navratilova Trophy in Singapore. More than 2 million votes from fans in 137 countries around the world came in to select the four players who are playing in a round robin format: each player will go head-to-head and the final will be played between the two with the best results.
