Beyond the Baseline Podcast: Andy Roddick on fatherhood, more
On this week's episode of the SI Tennis Beyond the Baseline Podcast, Sports Illustrated executive editor and host Jon Wertheim talks with Andy Roddick.
Previously a host of the FOX Sports Live Podcast with Roddick & Reiter, Roddick talks about his podcast experience and the methods he used when hosting his own show. Wertheim and Roddick then switch to tennis to talk about Roddick's work with Ryan Harrison and the role that tennis plays in his life right now, especially as a new father to a baby boy. Roddick also talks about the state of American tennis and his experiences with "hype" and being pegged as the next U.S. player to win a Grand Slam. Roddick also discusses Sharapova's positive drug test and it's repercussions, espeically on her Hall of Fame candidacy, as well as his relationship with Serena Williams.
