Caroline Wozniacki has withdrawn from this year’s French Open, according to the WTA.

The former world No. 1, now ranked No. 34, has a lingering right ankle injury and has not played since March in the Miami Open, where she lost in the third round to Elina Svitolina.

The 25-year-old missed both the Madrid Open and Italian Open due to a foot injury she sustained in practice in April. The Danish player previously withdrew from Denmark’s Fed Cup and later the Istanbul Cup.

The draw for the French Open will be released Friday, with play set to begin Sunday.
