The Billie Jean King National Tennis Center welcomed a lot of changes for this year's U.S. Open, including a 236,600-square-foot retractable roof on Arthur Ashe Stadium and an 8,125-seat redesigned grandstand stadium. There was also a farewell to Louis Armstrong Stadium, which will reopen in 2018 with a brand new 14,000-seat venue, also featuring a retractable roof.
