On this week's episode of the SI Tennis Beyond the Baseline Podcast, Sports Illustrated executive editor and host Jon Wertheim talks with Mischa Zverev.
Brother of rising young ATP star Alexander Zverev, Mischa, 29, joins the podcast from Stockholm, Sweden. Currently ranked No. 68, Zverev talks about his tennis career, how he dealt with the various injuries he suffered throughout his career, including wrist surgery, and what keeps him going on tour day to day. Zverev also talks about his relationship with his 19-year-old brother Sascha, who is currently the youngest player in the ATP top 50, at No. 20. Mischa discusses how his brother made him realize how much he loves tennis and how he helped him extend his career, and he also describes their relationship on and off the court. Wertheim and Zverev also talk about Nick Kyrgios, after the Australian was suspended following a match against Mischa in Shanghai.
