Tom Brady's NFL Broadcasting Debut Matchup Is Set for Week One
Tom Brady will officially make his NFL broadcasting debut for Fox this fall.
The retired NFL quarterback will join play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt for the Week 1 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Sept. 8. The announcement was made by Fox's Michael Strahan on Monday ahead of the full NFL schedule being released on Wednesday.
During the announcement, Brady began to realize how difficult it might be for him to speak highly of teams he once saw as his biggest competitors.
"Obviously having the Cowboys on is a huge draw as America's Team, that's going get a little hard for me to say that all the time," Brady said.
Both the Cowboys and the Browns are coming off playoff runs from the 2023 season, so Brady will surely have a lot to discuss in the booth about their 2024 campaigns.
Brady retired from the NFL after the 2022 season following 23 years in the league. He has a record seven Super Bowl titles, along with records for career wins (251), passing yards (89,214), passing touchdowns (649) and completed passes (7,753).
