Entering the conference tournament as the No. 12 seed, they made easy work of Oklahoma State in the first round, 77-62, Tuesday. Ibrahima Diallo led the team in scoring and rebounding, dropping 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting with 11 rebounds, five of which were on the offensive glass. Darius Johnson also had 11 points with six rebounds and five assists.

The Cougars will enter the tournament in the second round after finishing the season 22-9 overall and 10-8 against conference teams, tied with No. 16 ranked Kansas. They ended the season with a home win over Oklahoma State 85-71.
Jaxson Robinson led the team in scoring throughout the season with 13.9 points per game to go with 2.5 rebounds per game. He was followed by Trevin Knell who averaged 11.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
