Talk about brother vs. brother. Jered Weaver ended up replacing his older brother, Jeff, on the Angels' roster. Jeff has moved on to the Cardinals while Jered has put together a stellar rookie season, going 10-2 with a 2.15 ERA.

J.D. and Stephen Drew

As a member of the D'backs, rookie shortstop Stephen Drew found himself competing against his older brother for the NL West title this season. J.D., an outfielder for the Dodgers, has 157 career home runs in eight seasons with three teams.

Marcus and Brian Giles

This duo of former All-Stars is having a rough season. Braves second baseman Marcus is batting .270, and Padres outfielder Brian has seen his slugging percentage dip below .400.

Livan and Orlando Hernandez

The half-brothers from Cuba own a combined five World Series rings. Orlando won three with the Yankees and one with the White Sox; Livan was the 1997 World Series MVP for the Marlins.

Jose, Yadier, and Bengie Molina

When Yadier made his debut on June 3, 2004, the Molina brothers became the first trio of siblings to play in the majors in the same season since 1977 (when Jose, Hector and Tommy Cruz did). The Molinas' father, Benjamin Sr., was a inducted into the Puerto Rico Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame as a second baseman.

Jose has been a revelation for the Mets, taking over at second base and batting .285 with 14 home runs. Javier, a catcher, had a career year for the Reds in 2005 with 14 home runs and a .281 batting average.

This is what you call a baseball family. Their grandfather, Sam, was the first black player in White Sox history. Their father, Jerry, played 14 seasons with the White Sox and the Pirates, and their uncle, John, played for the Cubs.

Dmitri has fallen on hard times -- he was released from the Tigers on Wednesday -- just as his little brother has made an auspicious major league debut. Delmon, a Devil Rays outfielder, has 14 hits in his first 35 at-bats and already has belted two home runs.
