Running back Emmitt Smith powered the NFL's second-ranked offense with 1,713 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns -- both league bests. In the Super Bowl, Smith rolled for 108 yards against Buffalo as the latest Dallas dynasty won the first of its three championships of the 1990s.

Quarterback Troy Aikman masterfully directed coach Jimmy Johnson's offense, compiling 302 receptions, 3,445 yards and 23 TDs during Dallas' 13-3 regular season. In the Super Bowl, Aikman shredded the Bills for 273 yards and four TDs, bagging the game's MVP award.

Pro Bowl tight end Jay Novacek was one of the Cowboys' most reliable weapons, with 68 catches for 630 yards. He opened the floodgates in their 52-17 demolition of the Bills in the Super Bowl by grabbing a 23-yard TD pass from Troy Aikman late in the first quarter that erased Buffalo's 7-0 lead.

Wideout Michael Irvin had a huge season -- 78 receptions for 1,396 yards and 7 TDs -- that he capped in the Super Bowl with two lightning-quick scores 18 seconds apart just before halftime.

Defensive tackle Leon Lett was a solid performer who will forever be known for his premature TD celebration late in the Super Bowl. While returning a fumble, Lett slowed down and waved his arms, only to have the ball knocked out of his hand by Buffalo's charging Don Beebe.
