The 1978 Steelers capped off a 12-4 season with playoff victories against Miami (31-14) and Houston (27-13) before defeating the Rams, 31-9, in Superbowl XIV. The victory gave Pittsburgh their fourth Super Bowl of the `70s, proving that they were the team of the decade. Terry Bradshaw completed 17 of 30 passes for 318 yards and a record four touchdowns to lead the Steelers to victory.
