Quarterback
Aaron Brooks, Daunte Culpepper, Steve McNair, Trent Green, Matt Hasselbeck, Byron Leftwich and Ben Roethlisberger have all missed time this year with an assortment of injuries, but Chris Simms deserves lifetime membership on any all-injured team for having had his spleen removed after a Week 3 game against Carolina.

The 2005 rushing leader and MVP, and the only player in league history to score at least 15 touchdowns in five consecutive seasons, Alexander hasn't played since a Sept. 24 game against the Giants in which he suffered a fractured left foot.

The Texans passed on Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush with the first overall pick in the 2006 draft because they thought they were set with Davis. But the franchise's career leader in rushing yards hurt his knee early in camp, leaving the likes of Wali Lundy to carry the load.

The Giants all-time leading receiver and co-leader this season has a partial tear of the ACL in his left knee and is out for the season.

Center
The two-time Pro Bowl center and Ohio native chose not to re-sign with the Saints so he could play for his beloved Browns. Unfortunately, he tore the patellar tendon in his left knee during training camp, yet another in the franchise's storied list of injured players.
Guard
A member of the Patriots 2001 and 2003 Super Bowl champion teams, Woody had started in 37 consecutive games for the Lions, but was lost for the season after spraining his left foot in a Week 5 game against the Vikings.
Guard
A case could be made for Seth McKinney (neck surgery) or Bennie Anderson (torn triceps) at this spot because they're two of the four guards that Miami has lost this season. However, Mulitalo gets the nod because he had started in 102 of his 106 games with the Ravens and will be sorely missed. He tore his right triceps tendon in a Week 4 victory over San Diego.
Tackle
A 10-year veteran and arguably the Broncos' best lineman, Lepsis tore the ACL in his left knee while making a block in an October game against Cleveland. Denver proceeded to have its 13-game regular-season home winning streak snapped in its first game without him.
Tackle
The left tackle tore two ligaments in his left knee in a Sept. 10 game against Atlanta, ending his streak of 28 consecutive regular-season games with the Panthers.
Tight end
The sixth overall pick in the 2006 draft, Davis signed the richest contract ever for a tight end. He broke his leg in a Week 3 game against the Eagles but is hoping to return in time for the Nov. 12 game at Detroit.
