A new Age of Wonders 4 DLC is out with Empires & Ashes, a superb expansion that adds a ton of content to the turn-based strategy game alongside a free update releasing at the same time. Players with Empires & Ashes have access to a total of 18 new units, which originate from the brand-new Reaver Culture, four fresh Tomes of Magic, a newly added Infestation, and a new Ancient Wonder.

Early Reaver armies immobilize their enemies with the throwing nets of Harriers, after which their Overseers subdue the units to add them to their own ranks after the battle. Mechanical Observers keep an eye on things from the sky, marking targets for Magelocks to take down.

Empires & Ashes has brought lots of fun units to the table :: Triumph Studios / Paradox Interactive

From the tricky Afflictors, which poison and weaken enemies, to the magic-disrupting Severing Golems, Empires & Ashes has a lot of new things to discover and strategize with – and here are all new units in Age of Wonders: Empires & Ashes in one handy overview.
