Wondering how exactly you were supposed to decipher this one? Well it’s quite simple, and the answer is on the Sheriff’s desk. There’s a number cipher here, where each letter of the alphabet is assigned a number – it’s simple, with A=1, B=2, C=3 etc, but double-digits only use the last digit, so J=10, but you will only the 0. The letters you need are the last name initials for the three UFO books, with Parts one to three written by Quincey, Batston, and Westmore respectively. Using the letters Q, B, and W with our cipher, we can deduce that the code is 723.
