After getting rid of the looting party outside of the ruins, you can drop into the cathedral’s basement. In there is a fight with more looters as well as a few cool items. However, your attention should be turned toward the door without a handle.

A few firebolts should destroy it, letting you progress down into the Dank Crypt. On your right is an unlocked door that leads to a trap-filled room and the dungeon’s exit. On your left is another door that needs to be blasted open (or lockpicked if you have thieves' tools).

Head up to the back of the room and press the button on one of the back walls. This will open up the main tomb but also spawn hostile skeletons. Dispatch them and open the tomb to let Withers out.

He will not be hostile, instead asking you what you believe is the value of life. Regardless of your answer, he will be pleased and say that you will meet again – he will now appear at your camp.
