Unlocking all the costumes is one of the hardest parts of Bayonetta Origins, as each one requires you to complete a set of challenges, or find a number of collectibles around the open world. Remembrances are the only collectible not marked on the map, making them even more difficult to find. There are 15 of these little cutscenes to collect, which are marked by a circle of blue butterflies on the ground.

Here’s the locations of all the remembrances in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon.

Bayonetta Origins: Jade Hill Remembrance

This is probably the first Remembrance you will find as it is on the main storyline path. The blue circle for ‘Forest Oasis’ is on the edge of the cliff edge, overlooking the sanctuary.

Bayonetta Origins: Lake Nimueh Remembrance

Lake Nimueh’s Remembrance ‘Keep Quiet’ is one you have to return once you have some of the elemental powers. You can reach it by going west of the sanctuary and following the path around.

Bayonetta Origins: Ashenbark Wood Remembrance

‘Scheming Faeries’ is at the top of a tower. If you are traveling from the Lake Nimueh entrance across the top of the towers, there are two towers with rotating fire. The second one of these has two paths; a staircase down, and a path to the left near where you enter. Take the path to the left and claim to the top of the tower for this one.

Bayonetta Origins: Forgotten Knoll Remembrances

There are two Remembrances in Forgotten Knoll, but one you can only get in the post-game. ‘Wisp Watching’ is near the sanctuary. Move towards the screen until you see the bridge rising up on the right. The Remembrances is at the top.

‘The Forest’s Hero’ is given to you automatically when you have freed all of the wisps. Speak to Trent at the Wisp’s Hideaway near the sanctuary for your prize.

Bayonetta Origins: Wyvern Falls Remembrance

This is another easy one to grab as it isn’t far off the beaten path. ‘The Monster Cage’ can be found just north of the Sanctuary.

Bayonetta Origins: Chalkroot Hollow Remembrance

‘Lily pad garden’ is another one of the path. When you enter Chalkroot Hollow going towards Wyvern Falls you will encounter it as you traverse through the lake area.

Bayonetta Origins: Sunspeckled Grove Remembrances

Sunspeckled Grove is the other area with two Remembrances, and is by far the largest area in the game. ‘Presence of Power’ is directly behind the sanctuary and very easy to find. ‘Enchanted Water’ is a late-game Remembrance. Entering the area from Forbidden Grounds, take the path north to find a lake-like area and the Remembrance.

Bayonetta Origins: Forbidden Grounds Remembrance

This one is also on the main storyline path. You will find it along the cliff edge after you enter from Jade Hill on your way to the final part of the game.

Bayonetta Origins: Overgrown Shrine Remembrance

This is another easy one to find. ‘The Sacred Tree’ is on the ground right behind the sanctuary.

Bayonetta Origins: Giant’s Basin Remembrance

bayonetta-origins-remembrances-13

You can’t enter Giant’s Basin properly until the post-game. ‘The Queen’s Quarters’ is right next to the sanctuary at the back of the area. You can reach it by either entering from Sunspeckled Grove or Wyvern Falls.

Bayonetta Origins: The Watchtower Remembrance

Most of the Watchtower is inaccessible until you have the stone ability, but the Remembrance ‘Where the track leads’ is near where you enter from Faerieland Tower.
