The Shadow-Cursed Lands is a tough place in Baldur’s Gate 3. You’ll have to carry a lantern with you at all times if you want to avoid the shadow curse, and there aren’t many space places to rest and recover. That’s what makes the Last Light Inn such a valuable location.

It has magical protection from the curse, letting you get your bearings, and you’ll find several valuable allies there that can help you uncover the secrets of the Shadow-Cursed Lands on your way to Moonrise Tower. We’ll show you how to get to the Last Light Inn so you can take advantage of what it has to offer.

There are two entrances into the Shadow-Cursed Lands. One is in the northeast through the Underdark, and one is in the southeast through the Mountain Pass.

If entering from the Underdark: Head west at the fork in the road at the start, then along the edge of the water until you find a bridge leading to the inn.

If entering from the Mountain Pass: Go west until you hit a fork in the road, then start moving north. Eventually, you will hit a different bridge to the island where the inn sits.

Once here you can find all sorts of allies. Dammon will help you with Karlach's relationship quest, and you can potentially find a way to lift the Shadow Curse altogether. However, the entire place will be wiped out if you kill the Nightsong.
