Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 has entered Season 4, and despite a bunch of complaints I could make about Warzone 2.0 being broken, there’s definitely been one very good addition, and that’s sniper rifle buffs.

Until now, getting a one-shot kill with a sniper rifle against someone with three armor plates was basically impossible, but if you use a set loadout with some key tuning tweaks, you can make a one-shot sniper rifle that’ll devastate the helmets of opponents on the battlefield. For everything you need to make a one-shot sniper in COD: Warzone 2.0, just read through our guide below.

Season 4 and Explosive Ammunition

Your ammunition choice makes a big difference in COD: Warzone 2 / Activision

Explosive rounds have been in Warzone for a while now, but Season 3 increased their potency, and they've been essential ever since. There’s no question that this is the ammo type you want to use for one-shot kills, but it’s mostly limited to bolt-action sniper rifles, and it will harshly penalize the bullet velocity and penetration power of your weapons, which you’ll need to factor in when taking a shot.

But even though that’s all true, there are two snipers in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Season 4 that use Explosive Ammunition and can take down enemies easily. To build the best sniper possible in the latest season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, just read through our recommendations below.

Best one-shot FJX Imperium loadout – Warzone & MW2

  • Optic: Forge TAC Delta 4
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Muzzle: Nilsound 90
  • Rear Grip: Skull-40
  • Ammunition: .408 Explosive

We’ve not done a build for the FJX Imperium before, and you’ll have to forgive us for that. The Victus XMR and MCPR-300 have been taking the spotlight for far too long, and now it’s the FJX’s time to shine.

With this build the FJX Imperium is a solid one-shot sniper, which is exactly what you want. The Forge TAC Delta 4 is very similar to the default FJX scope, but you can tune it (along with the other attachments) for better Damage Velocity, Damage Range, and ADS Speed. No need to worry about stability or recoil, as we’re aiming for a one-shot kill, nothing more, nothing less.

Best one-shot MCPR-300 loadout – Warzone & MW2

If you want one-shot kills more than anything, this MCPR-300 loadout is incredibly reliable.

  • Optic: Forge TAC Delta 4
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Barrel: 22” OMX-456
  • Muzzle: Nilsound 90
  • Ammunition: .300 Mag Explosive

If you aren’t interested in the FJX Imperium, you can always opt for the MCPR-300 instead. It’s a classic, right? We’ve got a similar set up here for one-shot kills, including the all-important Explosive ammo, and the tuning can be tweaked for Damage Velocity, Damage Range, and ADS Speed.

Yep, same deal as before, but as long as you aim a perfect headshot, this MCPR-300 build is an ideal Warzone sniper.Best one-shot MCPR-300 loadout – Warzone 2.0
