Capcom has announced that Day 1 of the next Capcom Highlights broadcast will feature some updates on fantasy role-playing game Dragon’s Dogma 2, which will be released on March 22, 2024. Fans believe that the developer will use this opportunity to finally announce a demo version of the game so that people can try it out for free ahead of launch.

Slated for a simultaneous PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S release, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is probably the most highly anticipated launch in March 2024 – especially as it might benefit from the Horizon curse. Guerilla Games’ releases always fall on dates that see its titles overshadowed by a GOTY caliber competitor launching at a similar time. This last happened with Elden Ring in 2022.

Therefore, fans of Dragon’s Dogma 2 believe that the game coming out a day after the Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is a very good omen for its success.

Dragon's Dogma 2's Empress Nadinia, an anthropomorphic cat woman, is shown standing against a smouldering background with her hands spread slightly apart as if in benediction.
