Thunderstruck isn’t just a banging AC/DC song, it’s also an upcoming EA Sports FC 24 promo that’s going to mix things up to great effect by the looks of it. It’s not a returning Ultimate Team program from any previous entry into the franchise, but a completely new creation for Black Friday.

Active players as well as Icons will be part of Thunderstruck as dynamic objects, which means they’ll be upgradeable, according to leakers like Fut Sheriff. Apparently, these upgrades depend on the real-life performances of the players’ teams. For this reason, every Icon participating in this promo will be assigned a team selected from those for which they played over the course of their career, which will be the club from which they derive any potential upgrades.
