FF7 Rebirth: All voice actors
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has an absolutely massive cast — you’ll interact with dozens of incredible characters across your 100-hour (or more) journey. Given you’ll be spending so much time hearing people speak, it’s a good thing that all of the voice actors behind each of these characters have put in phenomenal performances.
But just who are all these voice actors? And where have you heard them before? That’s what we’re here to answer, and in this guide, we’ll tell you who the voice actor is for every major character in FF7 Rebirth, including all main party voice actors, supporting cast voice actors, and more.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth review – beyond expectations but doesn’t stick the landing
All main party voice actors – FF7 Rebirth
There are seven main party members in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, as well as a few extras and an additional few playable characters that you’ll check in with from time to time. All of these characters are voiced by top-tier voice actors, and you’ll probably have heard a lot of them before.
Cloud Strife – Cody Christian
Cloud Strife is voiced by Cody Christian, who previously voiced the character in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, and Chocobo GP. He’s best known elsewhere for his work on Teen Wolf, where he portrayed Theo Raeken in seasons 5 and 6.
Aerith Gainsborough – Briana White
Briana White reprises her role as Aerith Gainsborough in FF7 Rebirth, after having voiced the character in Remake and Crisis Core. Outside of video games, White has mostly been in smaller productions, like the movie Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.
Tifa Lockhart – Britt Baron
Tifa Lockhart is once again voiced by Britt Baron, like in the rest of the Remake games. Baron is best known for her role as Justine Biagi in Netflix’s GLOW, but has also played roles in Young Justice, Halo: The Fall of Reach, and Aftermath.
Barret Wallace – John Eric Bentley
John Eric Bentley is back as Barret Wallace in FF7 Rebirth, after having started in the role with FF7 Remake. Bentley has a huge catalog of work, having voiced Nick Fury in a number of Marvel video games, LeBron James in MultiVersus, and countless other roles across film, TV, and video games.
Red XIII – Max Mittelman
Red XIII, the lovable monster dog that accompanies you on your journey, is voiced by Max Mittelman in FF7 Rebirth, as he was in Remake. Mittelman also has a long list of acting credits, but his most prominent role is as Saitama in the English dub of One-Punch Man.
Yuffie Kisaragi – Suzie Yeung
Suzie Yeung made a huge splash when she started voicing Yuffie in FF7 Remake: Episode Intermission, and she’s back in another electric performance as Wutai’s greatest ninja in Rebirth. Yeung has done a lot of voice acting in the past five years, having voiced Eula in Genshin Impact, Chitose in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and plenty more.
Cait Sith – Paul Tinto
Cait Sith is a strange little guy, and Paul Tinto brings him to life with an incredible performance in FF7 Rebirth. Tinto doesn’t have a huge history with voice acting, but has appeared in an episode of The Crown, and a couple of episodes of Guilt.
Vincent Valentine – Matthew Mercer
Vincent Valentine is voiced by Matthew Mercer in FF7 Rebirth. If you’ve somehow been living under a rock for the last decade, Matthew Mercer has been in just about everything, from One Piece and Attack on Titan to Kingdom Hearts and Persona 5. If you can think of a big project with voice acting, Matthew Mercer has probably been in it. He’s also the dungeon master and host of Critical Role, which is a pretty big deal too.
Cid Highwind – J. Michael Tatum
Zack Fair – Caleb Pierce
Zack plays a surprisingly big role in FF7 Rebirth, and like in Remake and Crisis Core Reunion, is voiced by Caleb Pierce. Pierce has made a few appearances across film and TV, having appeared in Grey’s Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory, Veep, and 9-1-1.
Sephiroth – Tyler Hoechlin
You’ll play as Sephiroth at the very beginning of the Nibelheim flashback in FF7 Rebirth, right at the start of the game. Sephiroth is voiced by Tyler Hoechlin again, as he was in Crisis Core Reunion and Remake, but you might better know Hoechlin from the realm of TV, where he made major appearances in 7th Heaven, Teen Wolf, and DC’s Arrowverse, where he played Superman.
All supporting voice actors – FF7 Rebirth
Of course, there are plenty of characters outside of the main cast, and all of those have voice actors too. The list of supporting and recurring cast in Rebirth is absolutely massive, so we’re going to list these out as best we can.
