Update: FIFA 23 Future Stars Team 1 is officially out, leaks for Team 2 including Jamal Musiala are coming along!

The FIFA 23 Team of the Year (TOTY) squad including the 12th Man and a variety of Honourable Mentions is available in FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) until February 3, 2023.

A new promo is already waiting to be unleashed on that day, though – and it’s an old fan-favorite: Future Stars.

Here's everything we know about the FIFA 23 Future Stars start date, duration, Token Swaps, and leaked players.

What is the FIFA 23 Future Stars promo?

As the name suggests, Future Stars focuses on young players with huge potential, who still have most of their careers ahead of themselves. These youngsters receive upgraded cards, which hope to reflect their performances in the coming years when they will be at the apex of their careers. As such, players have to be 23 years old or younger to be considered for a Future Stars item.

FIFA 23 Future Stars start date

As mentioned above, FIFA 23 Future Stars began right when TOTY ended on February 3, 2023, at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT / 7pm CET.

Future Stars will have a duration of two weeks, with two entire squads being featured:

  • Future Stars Team 1: February 3-10, 2023
  • Future Stars Team 2: February 10-17, 2023

FIFA 23 Future Stars Token Swaps

EA Sports has officially announced that Token Swaps will return for FIFA 23 Future Stars. You will be able to collect 30 Future Stars Swaps Tokens from now until February 17, 2023, which can be traded in for a series of rewards.

  • 3x Future Stars Swaps Token: 1x Future Stars Team 1 Pack (1 Player)
  • 5x Future Stars Swaps Token: 1x Base Icon Gianfranco Zola
  • 10x Future Stars Swaps Token: 1x 84+ X20 Pack
  • 10x Future Stars Swaps Token: 1x Moments Coutinho
  • 15x Future Stars Swaps Token: 1x 87+ X10 Pack
  • 20x Future Stars Swaps Token: 1x Mid Icon George Best
  • 25x Future Stars Swaps Token: 2x 85+ X10 Pack
  • 27x Future Stars Swaps Token: Prime Icon Player Pick (1 Player out of 3)

FIFA 23 Future Stars leaks

It’s always difficult for EA Sports to keep upcoming cards a secret from the notorious FUT leaker community, and so it’s no surprise that we already have the first pieces of information regarding the included players.

Here are all leaked FIFA 23 Future Stars players not yet released:

  • Khvicha Kvaratskhelia – SSC Napoli (unknown OVR)
  • Jamal Musiala – FC Bayern München (unknown OVR)
  • Enzo Fernández – Chelsea FC (unknown OVR)
  • Eddie Nketiah – Arsenal FC (unknown OVR)
  • Rayan Aït-Nouri – Wolverhampton Wanderers (unknown OVR)
  • Charles De Ketelaere – AC Milan (unknown OVR, SBC)
  • Khéphren Thuram – OGC Nice (unknown OVR, SBC)
  • Nuno Tavares – Olympqiue Marseille (upgradeable OVR, Academy Objectives)

It's widely expected that these cards will all come with Team 2 of Future Stars.
