Football Manager 2024 wonderkids: best young players to buy /

Wonderkids are a well-established aspect of any soccer game and Football Manager 2024 is certainly no exception in this regard. These upcoming players are still young and incredibly talented, but have for the most part not had their big breakthrough on the international stage just yet, which enables you to buy their services cheaply.

Invest in their development, and you’ll have the next generation of soccer superstars right at your disposal – no matter if you need them to fill a specific role in your team or if you’re just looking for profitable financial returns. Which players should you invest in, though?

Finding and nurturing young talents is one of the greatest skills of a soccer manager / Sports Interactive

We’ve done the scouting work for you, so here are the best wonderkids in Football Manager 2024.

What is a wonderkid in Football Manager 2024?

For this list of wonderkids we have given ourselves two rules: First, we’ll work with a maximum age of 19 years. Second, we’ll leave out any players that are already well-known among soccer fans and had their international breakthroughs.

If we were to go by the classic definition, you would see stars like Bellingham, Saka, Caicedo, Musiala, Camavinga, Gvardiol, Pedri, and Nuno Mendes, who are probably already scratching at their potential and won’t be available on the market for a cheap price.

Instead, we’ll dig deeper and focus on players who are completely or almost unknown, but have the highest-possible potential skill ceiling. This will enable you to get them even on a thin starting budget. If you are working with a big transfer budget, there’s nothing stopping you from going for the names we’ve mentioned above, of course.
