Health is inarguably your most valuable resource in Fortnite, as running out of it knocks you out of a match. However, there aren’t always easy ways to restore it on the fly. While you can find bandages and medkits, they take time to consume, which isn’t practical mid-firefight. Instead, you can pick up a quick bite to eat in exchange for a small amount of health if you find produce.

Produce is scattered all around the Fortnite map if you know where to look, so we’ll explain how to get your hands on it.

Produce is pretty easy to come by, as you can find it in cardboard boxes all over the Fortnite map. You’ll typically find them behind the counter of stores and gas stations. They’re pretty easy to spot as they’re green boxes with pictures of fruit and vegetables on the side.

Just hit the box a few times with your pickaxe and random food items will fly out for you to pick up. All you have to do from that point is select them in your inventory and use the action button to consume them. Depending on the item you will regain a small amount of health or shields, getting you back on your feet after a tough battle.
