Fortnite Creative 2.0, also known as UEFN, has been out for a little under a month now, and the community has already got to work creating cool experimental maps for you to try out. It will take a little more time for the truly mindblowing stuff to get made, but there are still a bunch of islands worth playing on, with gamemodes new and old coming to the platform.

We’ve picked out the best Fortnite Creative 2.0 maps you can play right now. If you want to see some of the other maps on offer, check out our rundown of every Fortnite Creative 2.0 map available at launch.

Gossamer: Secrets of the Heap – 2911-8264-0390

Based on a novel by bestselling author Lois Lowry, Gossamer: Secrets of the Heap is an action-packed game mode where you must fight off waves of enemies, slowly expanding your arsenal with traps and utility items – think COD Zombies, but in Fortnite with fairies. It’s a pretty standard horde-based game mode, but the beauty of the world around you makes it worth going out of your way to try.

Sketchy Gun Game – 2625-4221-8535

Fortnite Fort Shooter

Gun Game is a fairly popular Fortnite Creative game mode. Every time you get an elimination, you’ll be given a different gun, and the first person to get through all the available guns is the winner. This version stands out because of the unique visual style it uses, making the entire thing look like it’s pencil-drawn. The novelty of that alone should help spice up an ever-enjoyable game mode.

Attack on Titan has finally come to Fortnite in update 24.20

Driftboard Mountain – 6034-6841-8925

Fortnite Driftboard Mountain

The Driftboard is a fun item to mess around with in Fortnite, and Driftboard Mountain is a massive playground for you to do just that. Acting like a snowboard, you can pick one of many courses on this mountain to try and get down as smoothly as possible, while getting points for performing tricks along the way.

Fort Shooter – 0389-9589-7317

Fortnite Fort Shooter

Boomer shooters are all the rage right now, so Fortnite has gotten in on the action too. Using simple but cramped maps, a first-person perspective, and an all-important pixel filter, Fort Shooter is about as faithful a recreation of classic games like Doom and Quake as you can get in Fortnite.

Reboot Royale – 4464-0648-9492

If you want to go back to the glory days of Fortnite Chapter 1 then Reboot Royale is the way to go, as it is a recreation of the original Fortnite Battle Royale island. There are various projects recreating different maps from all across Chapter 1, including some still in the works. However, it’s worth mentioning that Epic has stated that they won’t allow any map recreations from Chapter 2 or later, and even these Chapter 1 recreations cannot be monetized in any way.
