With Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releasing last week and May 4 just a couple of days away, it's no surprise that Fortnite wanted to get in on the action. There have been Star Wars events in Fortnite around this time for a few years now, and they always find new ways to represent everyone's favorite galaxy.

There's a lot to dig through in this patch, including the new Find the Force quests, so we'll give you the full Fortnite 23.40 patch notes.

Find the Force quests – Fortnite 23.40

Fortnite Find the Force

From now until May 23, 2023, you can complete the Find the Force quests to progress down this exclusive reward track. This is acting a little like a secondary Battle Pass, as there is a free reward track and a premium track, which you can only access by paying 1,000 V-Bucks, which you can buy for $7.99/£6.50 if you don’t already have enough.

Here are all the rewards on offer:

Free reward track:

  • Army of Clones emoticon
  • 1 Battle Pass level
  • The Fall of the Republic loading screen
  • Republic Army Backpack back bling
  • Trooper Formation spray
  • 1 Battle Pass level
  • Kamino’s Finest weapon wrap
  • Lil’ Podracer emote
  • Galactic Roundal spray
  • 1 Battle Pass level
  • Clone Trooper skin

Premium reward track:

  • Sith Probe Droid back bling
  • 1 Battle Pass level
  • Maul’s Malice spray
  • Wolfpack Trooper skin
  • Darth Maul Snarl emoticon
  • 1 Battle Pass level
  • Menacing Presence weapon wrap

But wait, there’s more! During this event, three sets of quests will be released:

  • “The Force Within” quests are live now
  • “Begun the Clone Wars Have” quests will go live on May 7
  • “Fall of the Republic” quests will go live on May 12

Complete all of the quests in a set and you’ll get a Holocron. Collect all three Holocrons and you’ll get yourself a Sith Infiltrator Glider.

Use the Force – Fortnite 23.40

Fortnite Anakin Skywalker

There are now three characters that you can visit during a match to complete your Force training. Doing so will let you come away with some nifty Force powers and a Lightsaber. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Darth Maul can all be visited, and they’ll each teach you different Force abilities.

You’ll always learn a faster sprit and a double jump ability, but you could also learn:

  • Force Push from Obi-Wan Kenobi
  • Force Pull from Anakin Skywalker
  • Force Throw from Darth Maul

Lightsabers and DC-15 Blasters – Fortnite 23.40

Fortnite Republic Chests Cropped

This, of course, means that Star Wars weapons are back in the game. The all-powerful Lightsabers are here, naturally, but with them comes a new type of blaster that hasn’t been seen in Fortnite before, the DC-15 Blaster.

Like the E-11 Blaster, it has infinite ammo, but this is focused on mid-to-long-range combat, with high accuracy and a lower rate of fire.

New Star Wars skins – Fortnite 23.40

Padme

Along with everything you can get in Find the Force, there are four new Star Wars skins coming to the item shop for the duration of this event:

  • Anakin Skywalker
  • Padmé Amidala
  • 501st Trooper
  • 212th Battalion Trooper
