Fortnite 25.10 patch notes: 5 biggest changes
Contents
The first major patch for Fortnite Wilds is here, and it’s bringing a few cool weapons to the party. Chapter 4 Season 3 is settling into its groove, giving us the promised Fortnite Ranked reset along with unlocking this season’s Super Level Styles, for players who surpass Level 100 on their Battle Pass.
We’ll run down all of the biggest changes in Fortnite update 25.10 so you know what to check out.
Cloak Gauntlets – Fortnite 25.10
These new stealth items use the Kinetic Ore found around the island last season to cloak you, making you almost invisible, and letting you sneak around much easier. It has a limited time you can remain cloaked, and you can’t use any weapons while cloaked, but it has unlimited charge, meaning you can use it as often as you like.
How to get the Fortnite Cloak Gauntlets
The Cloak Gauntlets can be found on the ground and in chests, as part of the regular loot pool.
Wildguard Relik boss – Fortnite 25.10
A new boss is out there in the jungle somewhere. Take on Wildguard Relik, who has Cloak Gauntlets of his own and you’ll earn some powerful Mythic items as a reward. First are the Mythic Cloak Gauntlets, which will let you remain cloaked for a longer period, as well as the Mythic MK-Alpha Assault Rifle, which has a much higher damage output than the basic model.
Flare Gun – Fortnite 25.10
A classic weapon, the Flare Gun, has been unvaulted and can be found as random loot in the world again. This gun marks any player it hits, allowing other players to see them through walls. However, if you are covered in mud, you will be immune to this effect.
New Reality Augments – Fortnite 25.10
Two brand new augments have been added, and one old one has been unvaulted:
- Mud Warrior – While in mud or covered in it, you’ll regenerate health and shields
- SMG Extended Mag – Your SMGs will have increased magazine size
- Tracker’s Armory – INstantly get a Flare Gun and Shadow Tracker
Rank reset – Fortnite 25.10
As promised before the season started, this update officially resets the rank of everyone who participated in Fortnite Ranked up until this point. Season Zero is still continuing though, as this was simply a test of the reset system. Your old rank will have determined your new starting rank, so you can quickly progress up the ladder once more.
