Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is underway and that means there’s a big dose of Kickstart Quests for you to take on and get some easy XP early on, letting you build up a bunch of Battle Pass levels. These quests are designed to introduce you to the new ideas and mechanics that the season brings, which means it’s not always obvious how to complete them.

One such quest is searching a Weapon Case, a new type of object to loot that can only be found in specific locations, so we’ll explain how to do it in Fortnite Underground.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Weapons
All of Fortnite Chapter 5's new weapons can be found in Weapon Cases / Epic Games

Weapon Cases can be found at seven different locations across the Fortnite Chapter 5 map, and they’re marked by a red diamond symbol on the map. The locations are:

  • Hazy Hillside
  • Rebel’s Roost
  • Reckless Railway
  • Ritzy Rivera
  • East of Classy Courts
  • West of Fencing Fields
  • Southwest of Pleasant Piazza

You can also find weapon cases inside the vaults guarded by NPC bosses, which remain locked unless you obtain a Fortnite Society Medallion. You can find the bosses and their vaults at:

  • Fencing Fields
  • Grand Glacier
  • Lavish Lair
  • Reckless Railways
  • Snooty Steppes

Dropping at any of these locations, all you need to do is grab a weapon from one of the cases to complete the quest and earn 15k XP. These weapons come in many varieties and rarities, but they have an extremely high chance of being at least Rare or better.
