Even Indiana Jones fears the best Genshin Impact Baizhu build – yes, why did it have to be snakes? That said, Baizhu’s talking white pet snake Changsheng is rather cute to behold, and doesn’t seem to pose any threat, being curled up around her owner’s shoulders. This Dendro character is a catalyst user and specializes in healing his allies.

His Elemental Skill, Universal Diagnosis, sends out a Gossamer Sprite to attack nearby foes up to three times. Upon its return to the active character, all nearby party members will be healed.

Baizhu’s Elemental Burst, Holistic Revivification, creates a Seamless Shield around the active character, healing them based on Baizhu’s maximum HP as well as attacking opponent with Dendro Damage whenever a new Seamless Shield is created or the Seamless Shield shatters.

Baizhu’s Talents allow him to gain additional healing or attack power based on the currently active character’s HP. Each 1,000 HP Baizhu has (not exceeding 50,000) grants allies protected by Seamless Shield damage bonuses to any Dendro reactions, making him not just a healer, but a potent buffer as well.

Best Baizhu weapons – Genshin Impact

Baizhu’s release came in tandem with the launch of his signature weapon, Jadefall’s Splendor, which is definitely his best option as a weapon. It provides more HP as a primary stat and the wearer may regenerate energy and gain elemental damage based on their maximum HP after activating an Elemental Burst or creating a shield. This effect will count for the currently active party member as well.

Best weapons for Baizhu in Genshin Impact:

  • Jadefall’s Splendor (5-star catalyst)
  • Prototype Amber (4-star catalyst)
  • Favonius Codex (4-star catalyst)
  • Sacrificial Fragments (4-star catalyst)
  • Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers (3-star catalyst)

Best Baizhu artifacts – Genshin Impact

There are two ways to build Baizhu depending on how you want to specialize him: You can kit him out as a general Dendro support character or focus completely on healing. For the Dendro support role, Deepwood Memories is a great set as it increases the overall damage output for any party with lots of Dendro damage and reactions.

Kitting out Baizhu as a healer works best with Ocean-Hued Clam, strengthening his healing power and adding some physical damage based on that healing.

You should get the following stat distribution on Baizhu’s artifact set in any case:

  • Flower: HP (main stat), Energy Recharge, HP %, Elemental Mastery, Attack % (secondary stats)
  • Plume: Attack (main stat), Energy Recharge, HP %, HP, Elemental Mastery (secondary stats)
  • Sands: HP % (main stat), Energy Recharge, HP, Elemental Mastery, Attack % (secondary stats)
  • Goblet: HP % (main stat), Energy Recharge, HP, Elemental Mastery, Attack % (secondary stats)
  • Circlet: Healing Bonus % (main stat), Energy Recharge, HP %, HP, Elemental Mastery (secondary stats)

Best Baizhu teams – Genshin Impact

Baizhu is a fantastic choice for any teams focusing on Dendro reactions, giving them a strong healer choice from that element, which in turn frees up characters like Kokomi to aid another party.

Hyperbloom compositions benefit greatly from Baizhu, making use of both his healing and buffs to damage output. Kamisato Ayato and Nahida generate Dendro Cores through their attacks, which Kuki Shinobu can then use to trigger Hyperbloom. Adding Baizhu into the mix has the added advantage that you can build Shinobu more aggressively, as you’re no longer depending on her healing to keep the team alive.

You can play this composition with Cyno, Raiden Shogun, Alhaitham, or Kaveh in the main role as well, adding Yelan or Xingqiu as Sub DPS characters for Dendro Core creation.

Baizhu is a great addition to Nilou Bloom teams for the same reasons.

  • Alhaitham (Main DPS), Yae Miko (Sub DPS), Fischl (Sub DPS), Baizhu (Support)

Aggravate and Spread compositions are another natural fit for Baizhu, who can replace Zhongli as the team’s protector, thereby enabling both Dendro and Electro Resonance to be present.
