Sound the performance’s final applause with the best Genshin Impact Furina build, using the full power of Fontaine’s Archon. Introduced as a quirky and somewhat superficial character, the final arc of the Fontaine story will change people’s opinions on Furina – and, most importantly, makes the sword-wielding Hydro character playable.

Furina’s Normal Attack, Soloist’s Solicitation, allows her to change her Arkhe alignment from Ousia to Pneuma when using it as a Charged Attack.

This influences her Elemental Skill, Salon Solitaire, which summons Furina’s entourage of Hydro creatures into battle. When aligned with Ousia, these critters deal Hydro Damage based on the maximum HP of Furina. If characters on the team have more than 50% of their HP, the creatures will consume their HP and deal increased damage – the more characters that fulfill this condition, the higher this damage bonus will be. When aligned with Pneuma, Furina’s summons will heal active characters based on her maximum HP in set intervals. The active summon can change if Furina switches her alignment during their activation. Also, Furina can walk on water while Salon Solitaire’s guests are on the field.

Furina’s Elemental Burst, Let the People Rejoice, deals Hydro Damage based on her maximum HP in an area-of-effect and causes party members to enter the Universal Revelry state. In this state, any percentage point change in their HP causes Fanfare points to be granted to Furina. Fanfare points allow Furina to increase the team’s damage as well as incoming healing.

Best Furina weapons – Genshin Impact

Furina’s kit allows her to be played as a more damage-focused character or a support-focused character – but no matter which role you want her to fill on your team, her best weapon will be Splendor of Tranquil Waters. This sword increases the Elemental Skill Damage when the wielder’s HP changes. It also boosts the wielder’s maximum HP when the HP of allied characters changes – even when the wearer is off the field. For Furina, this has the effect of increasing her offensive and healing capabilities at the same time.

Here are the best weapons for Furina in Genshin Impact:

  • Splendor of Tranquil Waters (5-star sword)
  • Key of Khaj-Nisur (5-star sword)
  • Primordial Jade Cutter (5-star sword)
  • Festering Desire (4-star sword)
  • Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (4-star sword)
  • The Dockhand’s Assistant (4-star sword)
  • Favonius Sword (4-star sword)

Best Furina artifacts – Genshin Impact

When it comes to artifacts, there are two ways to gear up Furina. If you want to focus on dealing damage, a full set of Golden Troupe is a wise investment. It buffs the Elemental Skill Damage of its wearer, especially for off-field abilities – this helps Furina’s Salon Solitaire out a lot.

However, if you want to specialize Furina as a support, it’s better to go with Ocean-Hued Clam. It will provide a boost to her Healing Bonus and convert some of the healing into a damage effect.

For a compromise solution serving both play styles, combine two pieces each of Tenacity of the Millelith and Vourukasha’s Glow – this combo provides a 40% HP boost, helping Furina out either way.

You should get the following stat distribution on Furina’s artifact set:

  • Flower: HP (main stat), HP %, Energy Recharge, Critical Hit Damage, Critical Hit Rate (secondary stats)
  • Plume: Attack (main stat), HP %, Energy Recharge, Critical Hit Damage, Critical Hit Rate (secondary stats)
  • Sands: HP % (main stat), Energy Recharge, Critical Hit Damage, Critical Hit Rate, Elemental Mastery (secondary stats)
  • Goblet: Hydro Damage % or HP % (main stat), Energy Recharge, Critical Hit Damage, Critical Hit Rate, HP % or Elemental Mastery (secondary stats)
  • Circlet: Healing Bonus % or HP % (main stat), Energy Recharge, Critical Hit Damage, Critical Hit Rate, HP % or Elemental Mastery (secondary stats)

Best Furina teams – Genshin Impact

Furina is an excellent addition to any team requiring off-field Hydro application as well as a bit of sustainability – she’s a little like Kokomi, but not as geared towards healing as the priestess of Watatsumi Island.

Wriothesley is a strong candidate for leading a Freeze team built around him, in which Furina can fill the niche of healer and Hydro applicator. Shenhe and Kazuha amplify Wriothesley’s DPS and provide crown control.

  • Neuvillette (Main DPS), Furina (Sub DPS), Fischl (Sub DPS), Kazuha (Support)

Neuvillette is another character benefitting from Furina’s presence. They can buff each other’s maximum HP through Hydro Resonance, while their passive mechanics revolving around their HP changing can synergize with each other. Kazuha once again adds crown control and some resistance shred, while an off-field character like Fischl or Yae Miko adds the Electro element.

  • Hu Tao (Main DPS), Furina (Sub DPS), Yelan (Sub DPS), Zhongli (Support)

Furina and Yelan provide Hydro Resonance to buff the team’s HP, while Zhongli provides shields and resistance shred. Hu Tao’s damage scales with HP, so she benefits from this arrangement on top of being able to constantly trigger Vaporize reactions thanks to Furina and Yelan’s off-field Hydro application.

Furina ascension materials – Genshin Impact

You’ll want to quickly raise Furina’s level when you finally pull her, which means that you’ll need to farm her ascension materials. You’ll also require some material to upgrade her talents.

Here’s what you need to get Furina to level 90:

  • Varunada Lazurite Sliver x1
  • Varunada Lazurite Fragment x9
  • Varunada Lazurite Chunk x9
  • Varunada Lazurite Gemstone x6
  • Whopperflower Nectar x18
  • Shimmering Nectar x30
  • Energy Nectar x36
  • Lakelight Lily x168
  • Water that Failed to Transcend x46
  • Mora x2,092,530

Varunada Lazurite can be obtained from any Hydro-affiliated boss on the world map, such as the Hydro Hypostasis below Watatsumi Island or Fontaine’s Hydro Tulpa and All-Devouring Narwhal. You need to farm both the Hydro Tulpa and All-Devouring Narwhal for Water that Failed to Transcend and Lightless Mass anyways, so you should be able to passively generate enough Varunada Lazurite as you collect those rarer materials.

Nectar can be gained from Whopperflower enemies you find in any of Teyvat’s regions. Lakelight Lilies may only be found in Fontaine, specifically in the Erinnyes Forest. The best way to earn more Mora in the game is to farm golden Ley Line Blossoms.

Here’s what you need to upgrade all of Furina’s talents to their maximum level:

  • Whopperflower Nectar x18
  • Shimmering Nectar x66
  • Energy Nectar x93
  • Teachings of Justice x9
  • Guide to Justice x63
  • Philosophies of Justice x114
  • Lightless Mass x18
  • Crown of Insight x3
  • Mora x4,957,500

For the materials already mentioned, see above. You’ll need to visit the Pale Forgotten Glory Domain on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday to farm Scrolls of Justice. As mentioned, Lightless Mass is a boss drop from the Narwhal.

Crowns of Insight are a rare item gained from time-limited events or regional reward mechanics like the Grand Narukami Shrine in Inazuma, Tree of Dreams in Sumeru, and Fountain of Lucine in Fontaine.
