Design the palace of your dreams with the best Genshin Impact Kaveh build and make your enemies pay for it. Kaveh is the first Dendro character to use a claymore in battle, though at the end of the day most of the fighting is done by his intelligent and autonomous toolbox, Mehrak.

Kaveh’s Elemental Skill, Artistic Ingenuity, uses Mehrak to make an area-of-effect attack dealing Dendro Damage. All Dendro Cores inside the attack’s range immediately burst, dealing their usual damage. Thanks to one of his Talents, Kaveh is not affected by Dendro Core damage and instead heals HP whenever he’s hit by one’s explosion.

His Elemental Burst, Painted Dome, creates a similar effect to the Elemental Skill’s attack. In addition, Kaveh’s Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks gain Dendro infliction which cannot be overridden, his interruption resistance is boosted, and Dendro Cores created by the party deal additional damage as they burst. This kit makes Kaveh a strong addition to any Bloom team.

Best Kaveh weapons – Genshin Impact

We hope you participated in Windblume’s Breath a little while ago, because the exclusive event weapon, Mailed Flower, is a great fit for Kaveh. It grants Elemental Mastery as a primary stat and further increases Elemental Mastery as well as Attack after triggering a reaction or hitting enemies with a Skill.

Best weapons for Kaveh in Genshin Impact:

  • Mailed Flower (4-star claymore)
  • Makhaira Aquamarine (4-star claymore)
  • Rainslasher (4-star claymore)
  • Forest Regalia (4-star claymore)

Best Kaveh artifacts – Genshin Impact

Kaveh should be accompanied by someone carrying Deepwood Memories to increase his damage – if not, have Kaveh wear a full set of this himself.

However, if another character brings Deepwood Memories to the table already, you should equip Kaveh with a full set of Flower of Paradise Lost. This will boost his Elemental Mastery as well as outright buff his Bloom reaction damage.

You should get the following stat distribution on Kaveh’s artifact set:

  • Flower: HP (main stat), Energy Recharge, Elemental Mastery, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage (secondary stats)
  • Plume: Attack (main stat), Energy Recharge, Elemental Mastery, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage (secondary stats)
  • Sands: Elemental Mastery (main stat), Energy Recharge, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage, Attack % (secondary stats)
  • Goblet: Elemental Mastery (main stat), Energy Recharge, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage, Attack % (secondary stats)
  • Circlet: Elemental Mastery (main stat), Energy Recharge, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage, Attack % (secondary stats)

Best Kaveh teams – Genshin Impact

Kaveh’s damage output outside of Bloom reactions isn’t the highest, so this is really the niche you should use him in.

This composition works like a regular Nilou Bloom team with everyone working together to create and detonate Dendro Cores. Kaveh is an especially great fit for this, as you won’t have to be as careful about standing close to the explosions since he’ll get healed by them anyway. You could also slot Kamisato Ayato, Xingqiu, or Baizhu into this team.

Kaveh ascension materials – Genshin Impact

You’ll want to quickly raise Kaveh’s level when you finally get him, which means that you’ll need to farm his ascension materials. You’ll also require some material to upgrade his talents.

Here’s what you need to get Kaveh to level 90:

  • Nagadus Emerald Sliver x1
  • Nagadus Emerald Fragment x9
  • Nagadus Emerald Chunk x9
  • Nagadus Emerald Gemstone x6
  • Fungal Spores x18
  • Luminescent Pollen x30
  • Crystalline Cyst Dust x36
  • Mourning Flower x168
  • Quelled Creeper x46
  • Mora x2,092,530

Nagadus Emeralds are available from any Dendro-affiliated boss on the world map, such as the Terrorshroom or the Dendro Hypostasis. Since you require the Dendro Hypostasis’ drop, Quelled Creeper, as well, farming that boss should be your priority. Fungal Spores, Luminescent Pollen, and Crystalline Cyst Dust is common loot from defeating mushroom beasts in Sumeru, which you can find pretty much anywhere in the region.

Mourning Flowers grow in the underground as well as on the surface of the Girdle of the Sands sub-region of Sumeru. The best way to earn more Mora is to farm golden Ley Line Blossoms.

Crowns of Insight are a rare item gained from time-limited events or regional reward mechanics like the Tree of Dreams in Sumeru or the Grand Narukami Shrine in Inazuma.
