Show the world that you are more than just an assistant with the best Genshin Impact Lynette build and step out of your big brother Lyney’s shadow. Lynette is the second character from the lands of Fontaine joining the playable roster. She’s quite the acrobat and wields her sword with precision, using her Anemo powers to speed herself up during combat. Best of all, you can get Lynette for free once you reach Adventurer Level 25.

Lynette’s Elemental Skill, Enigmatic Feint, has her execute an Enigma Thrust, dealing Anemo Damage to her target. On a hit, Lynette restores HP based on her maximum HP, losing HP for four seconds right afterwards. If you hold the button, Lynette enters the Pilfering Shadow state and applies Shadowsign to nearby enemies. Once this state ends, Lynette unleashes Enigma Thrust on the enemy with Shadowsign, quickly jumping to them.

Her Elemental Burst, Magic Trick: Astonishing Shift, allows Lynette to deal Anemo Damage in an area of effect around her. In addition, it summons the Booglecat Box. This stage prop taunts all enemies in range, deals continuous Anemo Damage, and can absorb Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro effects, firing out additional shots charged with this element.

Best Lynette weapons – Genshin Impact

Lynette is a classic Anemo Sub DPS or Support unit, which means that you’ll want lots of Elemental Mastery to boost her reaction damage as well as Energy Recharge to get her Elemental Burst up and running as often as possible. The 5-Star sword Freedom-Sworn is the perfect tool for this job, since it provides abundant Elemental Mastery on top of generating buffs for the entire team.

Here are the best weapons for Lynette in Genshin Impact:

  • Freedom-Sworn (5-star sword)
  • Skyward Blade (5-star sword)
  • Sacrificial Sword (4-star sword)
  • Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (4-star sword)
  • Amenoma Kageuchi (4-star sword)
  • Favonius Sword (4-star sword)

Best Lynette artifacts – Genshin Impact

As an Anemo character filling a Sub DPS or Support role, Lynette should roll with Viridescent Venerer, a typical artifact set for this type of unit. It just offers a really good package: Anemo Damage is boosted by 15% at two pieces and at four pieces the damage of Swirl goes up by 60%. In addition, the Elemental Resistance of enemies to the element infused in Swirl goes down by 40% for ten seconds, leading to an overall damage increase of your party.

You should get the following stat distribution on Lynette’s artifact set:

  • Flower: HP (main stat), Elemental Mastery, Energy Recharge, Attack %, Critical Hit Rate or Critical Hit Damage (secondary stats)
  • Plume: Attack (main stat), Elemental Mastery, Energy Recharge, Attack %, Critical Hit Rate or Critical Hit Damage (secondary stats)
  • Sands: Elemental Mastery (main stat), Energy Recharge, Attack %, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Hit Damage (secondary stats)
  • Goblet: Anemo Damage % (main stat), Elemental Mastery, Energy Recharge, Attack %, Critical Hit Rate or Critical Hit Damage (secondary stats)
  • Circlet: Elemental Mastery (main stat), Energy Recharge, Attack %, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Hit Damage (secondary stats)

Best Lynette teams – Genshin Impact

Lynette’s main role is to provide the Elemental Resistance shred from Viridescent Venerer via Swirl reactions, so she’ll only be on the field for short periods of time. Lynette also comes with an interesting talent, which buffs the entire team’s Attack based on how many elemental types are present. This means that Lynette is best used in a mixed team composition as opposed to being the Support in a mono-elemental team.

This Vaporize team uses the interaction between Klee and Bennett’s Pyro effects and Yelan’s consistent off-field Hydro application to cause devastating damage. Lynette lacks crowd control in comparison to many other Anemo characters you can slot into this position, she’s just as great at providing the Elemental Resistance shred you need. With three elemental types on the team, Lynette’s Attack buff for the entire party is going to be strong as well.

This is a bread-and-butter Freeze team around a double Cryo core and a strong off-field Hydro applicator in Kokomi. Lynette’s role is as described above.

Lynette ascension materials – Genshin Impact

You’ll want to quickly raise Lynette’s level when she joins you, which means that you’ll need to farm her ascension materials. You’ll also require some material to upgrade her talents.

Here’s what you need to get Lynette to level 90:

  • Vayuda Turquoise Sliver x1
  • Vayuda Turquoise Fragment x9
  • Vayuda Turquoise Chunk x9
  • Vayuda Turquoise Gemstone x6
  • Meshing Gear x18
  • Mechanical Spur Gear x30
  • Novel Dynamic Gear x36

That’s also where Lumidouce Bells can be harvested, so keep your eyes open while you explore these lands.

Novel Spare Clockwork Component – Coppelia is a boss material dropped by the pair of dancing Meka you face when challenging the Icewind Suite. The best way to earn more Mora is to farm golden Ley Line Blossoms.
