Just after you find the Ormr, there’s a tricky puzzle blocking your exit from the Aurvangar Wetlands.

You’ll come across a counterweight that you can knock down by throwing your ax at a connector between the chains above it. Once it’s down, you can hop on over and interact with a chain pulley system. Pulling it down brings down a portion of the gate blocking your exit.

Next, hop over to the wooden walkway on the left. You’ll see there’s another chain to pull at the top here. Head to the geyser close by and freeze it up with your ax. Hop over and follow the path around to the left. Enemies will attack here, so clear them out.

Once the enemies are down, use your chain blades to pull the top off the nearby geyser cap. You’ll notice that freezing this geyser doesn’t do anything. But stay where you are, and freeze the original geyser. This will cause the pressure in the second geyser to spike, spinning the wheel and lowering the counterweight.

Stay near the capped geyser and recall your ax before quickly throwing it at the weak connection point on the chain above the counterweight, before it reaches the top. Next, you need to climb on the counterweight and freeze up the previously capped geyser, increasing the pressure on your side to raise the counterweight like an elevator.

Open the chest up here to get some Forged Iron, grab the Kvasir Poem, and pull the chain to complete the puzzle.
