You may remember a whole host of secret levels and game modes if you’ve played GoldenEye 007 on Nintendo 64 and were able to beat certain missions within specific difficulty and time limits to unlock all that cool stuff.

You may also remember not wanting to do all that and using the game’s cheat codes instead.

GoldenEye 007 is now out on Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles, and you’ll be glad to hear that you can still input those old cheat codes to get the same results in the modernized version – but only in the Nintendo Switch edition. It’s also a bit fiddly to enter the codes with Switch controllers, but it’s a challenge you can overcome.

Unfortunately, the GoldenEye 007 cheat codes won’t work on Xbox, where you’ll have to unlock all the extra content by actually being good at the game and succeeding at those speed runs.

We have the full list of all GoldenEye 007 cheat codes for Nintendo Switch here, but are also listing the regular unlock requirements for those of you on Xbox – or the skill of the world’s best secret agent. Good luck, Mr. Bond!
