How to use Floo Powder, Floo Flames, and fast travel – Hogwarts Legacy

First, the good news: you do not need to collect Floo Powder. Floo Powder is practically an unlimited resource for your young wizard, the only issue is actually unlocking Floo Flames that you can use.

Floo Flames are activated simply by approaching them. As you explore the world, you will see grey Floo Flame icons on your world map. Approaching these icons in the world usually activates them, allowing you to use this Floo Flame in the future.

To fast travel in Hogwarts Legacy, all you need to do is hover over an activated Floo Flame in your world map and press the Square/X button for PlayStation/Xbox respectively.

Ignatia Wildsmith is the inventory of Floo Powder, and she actually has a stone face that will talk to you above each and every Floo Flame – don’t be surprised if you hear her calling out to you as you fast travel or run past!
