Hogwarts Legacy Twitch drops: how to get the Merlin Cloak and other items
Hogwarts Legacy is in our hands, and streamers have wasted no time broadcasting their journeys live on Twitch. Whether you’re a regular stream viewer or not, it’s worth seeking out these streams over the next couple of weeks, as you’ll be able to earn exclusive Hogwarts Legacy Twitch drops that you can use to customize your character.
We’ll tell you how to link your accounts to get these rewards and what you get for your time. This isn’t the only way to get exclusive items though, make sure you link your Harry Potter Fan Club account too for more rewards.
How to get Hogwarts Legacy Twitch drops
If you haven’t already then you’ll need to set up a WB Games account. This shouldn’t be a problem, as all you need is an email address. From there you can go into your account settings and go into the “connect” menu, there you’ll be able to log in with your Twitch accounts and connect them.
Once that’s all set up, go into your Twitch account settings and make sure you have Twitch drops enabled then. Anytime between now and February 24, 2023, you can earn rewards by watching Hogwarts Legacy streams.
You’ll earn rewards for every 30 minutes you watch, for a total of four rewards. On top of that, you can get a bonus reward if you spend 20 minutes watching the official Avalanche Software Twitch Channel. You’ll need to go into your drops page on Twitch to claim them, though.

The four items you’ll get from watching any Hogwarts Legacy streams are:
- Silver Dragon-Eyed Spectacles - Facewear Cosmetic.
- Urchin Hat - Headwear Cosmetic
- Carmine Lightning Bolt Scarf - Neckwear Cosmetic
- Lilac Ensemble - Outfit Cosmetic
Then, for watching the Avalanche streams, you’ll get the Merlin Cloak, which is certainly a fancy reward.
