The Honkai: Star Rail update 1.4 livestream has been scheduled – with fresh characters, events, and quests, there is lots to talk about for the space RPG. This new version is titled Jolted Awake From a Winter Dream and will seemingly continue the story arc around March 7th that started with her Companion Mission, Total Recall, in the current patch. At least March’s prominent place on the livestream announcement would suggest as much.

This isn’t the only thing we know about the upcoming update, of course, and you can read more on that below. First, here are the Honkai: Star Rail 1.4 livestream start times.

March 7th seems to be star of the show in update 1.4 / HoYoverse

Honkai: Star Rail 1.4 livestream: what to expect

As mentioned above, we do know a few things about the upcoming update: Most importantly, the developers have already revealed the three new characters you can expect to arrive on October 11, 2023, when Honkai: Star Rail 1.4 launches: Jingliu, Topaz, and Guinaifen will debut. Jingliu is not a new face entirely, having appeared a few times throughout the story so far. She’s a 5-Star Destruction character dealing Ice Damage. Topaz, a 5-Star Hunt character dealing Fire Damage and being accompanied by a Warp Trotter called Numby, and Guinaifen, a 4-Star Nihility unit with Fire Damage, will be fresh acquaintances.

Aside from a possible focus on March 7th, it seems likely that we’ll return to Belobog before the Astral Express makes its way to an entirely new planet. Topaz, who is a high-ranking member of the IPC, seems to make her way to Belobog to collect on a debt to the IPC from 700 years ago, if a new quest on the planet is to be believed. Perhaps it’s time for the Trailblazer to flex their savvy business muscles again like with the Logistics Planning mini-game in the current update?

Time, or rather the upcoming livestream, will tell.

Finally, Honkai: Star Rail promo codes will be dropped during the show and enable you to stock up on additional Stellar Jade.
