The Honkai: Star Rail 1.5 update is on the horizon and has a wave of all-new content in store for players to explore. Naturally, this includes a series of character and Light Cone banners, which’ll allow users to expand their roster of playable Honkai: Star Rail characters.

Update 1.5 will continue what the current version started by offering more than just one character and Light Cone banner containing fresh fighters – in addition to these, players will be able to call upon a returning character and their weapon of choice in separate rerun banners.

While the ongoing update lasts for a mere five weeks for unknown reasons, update 1.5 will be back to the usual duration of six weeks. That means all banners will be available for a period of three weeks.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Honkai: Star Rail 1.5 banners.

Honkai: Star Rail 1.5 banners: Phase 1

Starting on November 15, 2023, with update 1.5’s release, you’ll be able to call upon one new character:

  • Huohuo (5-Star character, Wind, The Abundance), Dan Heng (4-Star character, Wind, The Hunt), Arlan (4-Star character, Lightning, The Destruction), and Serval (4-Star character, Lightning, The Erudition).
  • Night of Fright (5-Star Light Cone, The Abundance), Shared Feeling (4-Star Light Cone, The Abundance), Subscribe for More! (4-Star Light Cone, The Hunt), and Trend of the Universal Market (4-Star Light Cone, The Preservation).

Huohuo

HoYoverse

Huohuo is a young Foxian girl possessed by a ghost-like heliobus, who ironically has the job of hunting down ghosts and spirits. She comes with a Skill that can heal up to three allies and dispel negative status effects, while her Ultimate offers a powerful Attack buff in addition to Energy Regeneration for all allies. Her Talent further offers some passive healing, making her a strong candidate for players who missed out on Luocha.

Dan Heng

HoYoverse

Dan Heng is a solid single-target attacker, who is especially effective against debuffed targets.

Arlan

HoYoverse

Arlan is a pretty weak attacker with the major drawback of having to sacrifice his own HP to increase his damage.

Serval

HoYoverse

Serval is a strong area-of-effect attacker, who is especially great at inflicting the Shock status effect and supporting DoT characters.

Honkai: Star Rail 1.5 banners: Phase 2

Phase 2 will begin on December 6, 2023, and run up to the release of update 1.6. You’ll be able to get two brand-new characters in this time period:

  • Argenti (5-Star character, Physical, The Erudition), Hanya (4-Star character, Physical, The Harmony), Lynx (4-Star character, Quantum, The Abundance), and Asta (4-Star character, Fire, The Harmony).
  • Silver Wolf (5-Star character, Quantum, The Nihility), Hanya (4-Star character, Physical, The Harmony), Lynx (4-Star character, Quantum, The Abundance), and Asta (4-Star character, Fire, The Harmony).
  • An Instant Before A Gaze (5-Star Light Cone, The Erudition) and three 4-Star Light Cones.
  • Incessant Rain (5-Star Light Cone, The Nihility) and three 4-Star Light Cones.

Argenti

HoYoverse

Argenti is a Knight of Beauty and wanders the galaxy in search of his lost Aeon. His kit is pretty straightforward and specializes in dealing with waves of enemies – the more, the better, as his Critical Hit Rate and Energy Regeneration are boosted by hitting a larger number of foes. He can choose how much Energy he wants to use for his Ultimate, boosting its damage in the process.

Silver Wolf

HoYoverse

Silver Wolf is a talented hacker from the planet Punklorde and part of the Stellaron Hunters. She’s a fantastic debuff character, who is able to inflict multiple negative status effects on her enemies. In addition, she can implant weaknesses in enemies, allowing her allies to cause Weakness Break while attacking them.

Hanya

HoYoverse

Hanya is a judge of the Ten-Lords Commission of the Xianzhou Luofu and tasked with punishing evil deeds. She’s a support character and can apply a status effect on enemies that allows her allies to restore additional Skill Points for the team by attacking them in addition to dealing more damage. Her Ultimate boosts the Speed and Attack of the target ally.

Lynx

HoYoverse

Lynx is a strong healer, who can also prevent debuffs on allied characters.

Asta

HoYoverse

Asta is a powerful support character with the ability to increase her allies' Speed.

Three weeks after the second phase of version 1.5 begins, update 1.6 will be out. This, in turn, will bring about the release of Ruan Mei, Dr. Ratio, and Xueyi.
