It’s almost time for our departure to Penacony in Honkai: Star Rail update 2.0 – yes, less than a year after the mobile game has been released we’ll see its biggest content expansion yet. There is much we can look forward to when it comes to the next station of our journey on the Astral Express, if our past adventures are anything to go by.

Called “If One Dreams At Midnight,” the 2.0 version will introduce many characters, an entire new planet, and lots of interesting lore.

Obviously, there is a lot to talk about when it comes to the upcoming 2.0 version, so it’s only fitting that HoYoverse’s Dawei and the Honkai: Star Rail development team will lead us through all the new content we can expect in the freshly announced special program.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Honkai: Star Rail 2.0 livestream start times and where to watch the special program.

Honkai: Star Rail 2.0 livestream: what to expect

Naturally, we’ll get a detailed look at Penacony, which seems like a Las Vegas-like planet of glitz, glamor, and illusion. The Astral Express and many other characters have been invited to a feast by the planet’s rulers, a group called The Family. That already harbors the potential for exciting developments, but it’s not the only thing we know: The Ever-Flame Mansion is hatching a plot to disrupt the festivities.

Honkai: Star Rail 2.0 will add three fresh characters to the playable roster in the form of Black Swan, Sparkle, and Misha. Black Swan and Sparkle are fellow attendees of the celebrations, while Misha is working for a renowned hotel on Penacony. Their abilities and roles in the story should be revealed in detail during the upcoming stream.

Fresh regions usually bring additional enemy types, bosses, and equipment with them, so we’ll likely learn more about those areas as well.

Finally, Honkai: Star Rail promo codes will be dropped during the show. Make sure to grab them while they’re hot for those Black Swan and Sparkle funds.
